Nestled into the rolling hills of the South Hams is Blakemore Farm. Founder of Luff Bus, Ian, just so happens to live in a property on the farm and even says hello to the happy, grass-fed livestock as he leaves the house each morning! We know our farmer, we know our butchers, and we see on a daily basis how very well the livestock is raised. Blakemore Farm is also is also a large beef farmer to Waitrose.
We buy our coffee from the Curator Café in Totnes. The beans are wood roasted by Fazenda in Roma and there are only 2 other cafés in the UK selling this coffee, so we like to keep it exclusive. The coffee is sourced from Equatorial regions from all over the world from Ethiopia to Salvador, Brasil to India, Guatemala to the Congo and the blends are from a mixture of 3 or 4 regions. No solo origin coffee is served on the bus and all are brewed through our shiny twin lever Fracino espresso machine. Serving blended coffee this way, we can vary the taste of the coffee to keep our pallets interested. Ground/Unground coffee is available to buy/takeaway from the bus for your machine at home.
At Cuckoo Eggs they only have healthy and happy hens, with plenty of land for them to roam and explore. All Cuckoo Eggs are free range and we have visited their pleasant farm in Modbry, Devon, where we saw first hand what a happy life the birds here enjoy!
